Ms. Arettia M. Jensen, 76, of Kingston, IL, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021, in her home.
She was born August 20, 1945, in Quincy, IL, to Roy & Relta (Fogel) Welch. They preceded her in death.
She married Edward “Butch” Jensen on January 15, 1970, in Pittsfield, IL. He preceded her in death on June 20, 1996.
She is survived by 4 sons, Shawn Jensen, wife Allie, of Kingston, IL, Edward Jensen of Colombus, IL, Robert Cates, wife Cindy, of Hannibal, MO, and Michael Cates, of Springfield, MO, 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren with another one on the way.
She was preceded in death by 1 brother and 6 sisters.
Arettia loved fishing, mushroom hunting, throwing darts, shooting pool, Karaoke and playing Backgammon.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 27, 2021, at Kingston Cemetery in Kingston, IL.
There is no visitation.
Burial will be in Kingston Cemetery, Kingston, IL.
