Obituary for Betty Kendall
Mrs. Betty Kendall, 89, of Barry, passed away at 4:20 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015, at the Barry Community Care Center in Barry. She was born February 15, 1926, in Barry, Illinois, to George Putnam & Enola E. (Hill) Wheelan. They preceded her in death. She married Kenneth Albert Kendall on September 19, 1948, in Barry. He preceded her in death on August 11, 1988. She is survived by 2 sisters, Mari Williams of Cupertino, California and Frances Croxville of Morton, Illinois. She is also survived by 3 nephews, 4 nieces and several great nieces & great nephews. Betty was a graduate of Barry High School. She was a member of the Nancy Ross Chapter of the D.A.R. and the Barry United Methodist Church. Betty had worked at the First National Bank of Barry for over 50 years. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2015, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2015, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry. Memorials are suggested to the Barry United Methodist Church.
