Mr. Gary LeRoy Heckelsmiller, 59, of Barry, Illinois, passed away at 10:24 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2019, at the Barry Community Care Center in Barry.
He was born December 22, 1959, in Quincy, Illinois, to Robert G. & Lucille Irene (Berry) Heckelsmiller.
He is survived by 2 sisters, Sharon Lynn Swank of Barry and Karen Ann Stephens of Petersburg, Illinois; 1 brother Robert G. Heckelsmiller of Maywood, Missouri; 3 nieces, 2 nephews, 2 great nephews and 1 great niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Gary was a Navy Veteran who loved to ride motorcycles, fish & hunt mushrooms. He enjoyed his friends and liked to have a good time.
A Celebration of Gary's Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2019, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pittsfield.
There is no visitation.
Final disposition will be private.
