Mr. Jerry “Mac” Moyer, 68, of Barry, IL, passed away Tuesday June 7, 2022, in Quincy, IL.
He was born June 23, 1953, in Quincy, IL, to Wilbert & Ruth (McCleery) Moyer. They preceded him in death.
He is survived by 2 sons, Ethan Moyer, of Quincy, IL, and Evan Moyer, of Quincy, IL, 2 brothers, Ray Moyer & his wife Sharon, of Barry, IL, and Ben Moyer, of Barry, IL, and his nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 son Ryan Lee Moyer and his beloved dog Mooch.
He was employed at Electric Wheel and then Titan Wheel for over 33 years and retired from there. Mac was known at work as Cockleburr. He enjoyed gardening, especially his pumpkin patch. He liked fishing, boating, socializing with his many friends and drinking beer.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2022, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.
Private burial will be at Hull Cemetery.
