Mr. John R. "Jack" Anstine, 84, of Jacksonville, IL, formerly of Pike County, IL,
passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.
He was born December 28, 1936, in Seward, Nebraska to John & Leona (Conley) Anstine.
They preceded him in death.
He married Patricia Lee Parrick on September 27, 1974, in Rockport, IL. She preceded
him in death on December 2, 1984.
He is survived by 1 son John Anstine II, wife Kristi, of Griggsville, IL, 2 step grandchildren and 1 sister Janice Spradley of Lake St. Louis, MO.
Jack served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1964. He was in the Redstone Missile Unit. He loved spending time & working outdoors. He was a hunter and enjoyed marksmanship
& archery. In his youth he was a boy scout and taught archery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.
Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry.
