Obituary for Marjorie Teressa Stout
Mrs. Marjorie Teressa Stout, 93, of 639 York St., Quincy, formerly of Barry, passed away at 8:50 am. Saturday, August 1, 2015, at her home in Quincy. She was born May 20, 1922, in Pittsfield, Illinois, to John Everett & Verna (Ramsey) Alsup. They preceded her in death. She married Thomas William Stout on November 1, 1941, in Palmyra, Missouri. He died January 9, 1994. She is survived by 1 daughter - Mrs. Danny (Sue) Pearn of Quincy, Illinois. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Danne Pearn, wife Becky, of Krum, Texas; Tom Pearn, wife Dana, of Palmyra, Missouri; and Christina Kraft, husband Roger, of Ft. Scott, Kansas; 5 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 sister, Betty Gail, her husband and her parents. Marjorie was retired from Barry Community School where she was secretary for 20 years. She was a member of the Barry Baptist Church and the Barry American Legion Auxiliary. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at Park Lawn Cemetery, Barry, Illinois Memorials are suggested to Park Lawn Cemetery Veterans Monument Fund.
