Obituary for Mr. Ronald E. Colbert
Mr. Ronald E. Colbert, 57, of New Canton, Illinois, passed away Thursday morning, October 3, 2013, in his home. He was born September 18, 1956, in Louisiana, Missouri, to Roy Clement & Mabel Angelene (Hammett) Colbert. They preceded him in death. He married Nita Tittsworth, on October 10, 1985, in Clarksville, Missouri. She survives in New Canton, Illinois. He is also survived by 1 daughter, Melissa Malcolm of Louisiana, Missouri; 1 son, Ryan Colbert of New London, Missouri; and 1 daughter, Kim Colbert of New Canton, Illinois. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Roger Colbert of Kansas and John Colbert of Missouri; and 2 sisters, Karen Cornett of Kentucky and Sandy Ditzler of Indiana. Ron enjoyed Cardinal baseball as well as fishing and mushroom hunting. Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 7, 2013, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 7, 2013, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry, IL. Disposition will be private. Memorials are suggested to Hannibal Regional Hospital I.C.U.
