Obituary for Mrs. Ruth I. Moyer
Mrs. Ruth Moyer, 92, of Barry, Illinios, passed away at 4:00 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2012, at the Barry Community Care Center in Barry. She was born August 8, 1919, in Barry, Illinois, to Robert & Anna (Sparrow) McCleery. They preceded her in death. She married Wilbert Moyer on September 12, 1936, in Hannibal, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 30, 2004. She is survived by 3 sons - Ray Moyer & his wife Sharon of Barry; Ben Moyer of Barry and Jerry Mac Moyer of Barry. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and her twin sister Ruby Bower of Barry. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Ruth was a homemaker and farm wife with Wilbert for 50 plus years. She was a very good cook. Ruth enjoyed attending the Barry Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry. Memorials are suggested to the Barry Community Care Center Activity Fund.
