Obituary for Patricia C. Martin
Mrs. Patricia C. (Pat) Martin, 82, of Sunset Home, Quincy, formerly of Barry, passed away at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Sunset Home in Quincy. She was born September 4, 1933, in Barry, Illinois, to Chester & Carrie (Parker) Duff. They preceded her in death. She married Ross G. Martin on May 29, 1953, in Harrison, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on December 31, 2002. She is survived by 2 sons, Gary Martin, wife Trena, of Griggsville and Michael Martin of Quincy. She is also survived by 6 grandsons, Bryan Martin, Greg Martin and Stason Martin, all of Perry, and Logan Martin, Skyler Martin and Wyatt Martin, all of Bowen, 2 granddaughters, Jan Kirk of Griggsville and Emily Martin of Bowen, 1 niece Patsy Siwek of Quincy, 1 nephew Rick Duff of Quincy, 2 great nieces, 2 great nephews, 1 great great niece and 2 great great nephews. She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Homer Duff. Patsy enjoyed playing cards with her family. She liked to travel, read and sew and she enjoyed her family. She was a very generous person and made friends wherever she went. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Barry. Memorials are suggested to Sunset Home Activity Fund.
