Mrs. Paulette Stapleton, 70, of Hull, Illinois, passed away at 6:09 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2019, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Missouri.
She was born February 6, 1948, in Shelbina, Missouri, to Ellis & Nadine (Gupton) Peters. The preceded her in death.
She married Larry Stapleton on June 2, 1968, in Shelbyville, Missouri. He survives in Hull.
In addition to her husband Larry she is also survived by 1 son Michael Stapleton, wife Sonya of Barry, IL, 1 daughter Geneie Kindhart, husband Cory, of Camp Point, IL, 5 grandsons, Aden Stapleton, of Quincy, IL, Tanner Kindhart of Camp Point, IL, Brandon Jennings of Quincy, IL, Kameron Kindhart of Camp Point, IL, Brandt Stapleton of Barry, IL, and 2 granddaughters, Katie Kindhart of Camp Point, IL, and Audra Stapleton of Quincy, IL.
Paulette enjoyed camping, fishing & doing embroidery. She was a member of New Hope Country Church in Hull. She also enjoyed gardening and her cooking was much admired. Paulette was a thoughtful person. She was a member of Hull Hi-Neighbor Club.
Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2019, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2019, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.
Burial will be in Kinderhook Cemetery, Kinderhook, Illinois.
Memorials are suggested to New Hope Country Church, Hull, Illinois.
