Obituary for Roseanna L. Dennis
Miss Roseanna L. Dennis, 53, of New Baden, Illinois, formerly of New Canton, Illinois, passed away Friday, May 8, 2015, in the emergency room of St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, Illinois, as the result of an automobile accident which also claimed the life of her significant other, Tony Biondo. She was born August 28, 1961, in Chillicothe, Missouri, to Jerry D. & Shirley N. (Gann) Dennis. They preceded her in death. She is survived by 1 son, J. W. Dennis & wife Jeana of New London, Missouri, 1 grandson, Bentley Dennis and 1 granddaughter, Addison Dennis, both of New London, Missouri. Also surviving are 1 brother, Jerry Dennis & wife Ellen of Hannibal, Missouri; 1 sister, DeVonna Nation & husband Mark of Pittsfield, Illinois; 2 nieces, Jessica Dennis of Chicago, Illinois and Ali Nation of Pittsfield, Illinois; 1 nephew, D. J. Dennis of Denver, Colorado; and a former sister-in-law, Sylvia Dennis of Quincy, Illinois. She was preceded in death by 1 infant brother, her parents and her significant other, Tony Biondo. She was very fond of animals and enjoyed fishing and music, especially Toby Keith. She lived to spend time with her family. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry. Burial will be in Shearer Cemetery in New Canton, Illinois. Memorials are suggested to the Pike County Animal Shelter.
