Mrs. Sheilia J. “Tooley” Motley, 76, of Barry, IL, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022, in her home.
She was born October 31, 1946, to Murl William & Uelella Mae (Darnell) DeJaynes. They preceded her in death.
She married George Michael Motley on November 1, 1964, in Barry, IL. He preceded her in death on April 24, 2003.
She is survived by 1 son Greg Motley, wife Jeannie, of Baylis, IL, 1 daughter Courtney Beth Motley, of Barry, IL, 2 grandsons, Cory Michael Miles, of Barry, IL, and Chance Colton Miles, of Barry, IL, 2 granddaughters, Ashley Elizabeth Motley, of Pittsfield, IL, and Brianna Michelle Howland, husband Ethan, of Springfield, IL, 3 great grandchildren, 1 sister Faye Stilly, of Rensselaer, MO, a niece Sherri Sparrow and a close friend Janet Miller.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by 1 sister Kay Turnbaugh.
Tooley liked to go to concerts and play bingo. In her spare time she liked to collect candles and pencil sharpeners. She adored her family and spending time with them. She had a very strong dislike for cats.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry, IL.
Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry.
