Mr. Vern Leroy Roberts, 78, of Jacksonville, Illinois, formerly of Barry, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.
He was born August 31, 1942, in Hadley Township, near Barry, to Chester R. & Jessie M. (Lane) Roberts.
He is survived by 1 sister Barbara Clary of Barry, IL, 1 brother Bruce Roberts, wife Judy, of Quincy, IL, several nieces & nephews as well as his Pathway & Morton House family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother Richard Roberts, a brother-in-law Thomas Clary and a nephew Mark Roberts.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry.
There is no visitation.
Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry.
