Mr. Joseph “Mike” Lord, 56, of Barry, IL, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021, at his home.
He was born June 5, 1965, in Pittsfield, IL, to Linda (Splain) Lord.
He married Victoria Tittsworth on April 26, 1986, in Bowling Green, MO. She survives in Payson.
He is survived by 3 sons, Brandon Michael Lord, of Barry, IL, Dayton Roni Lord, of Payson, IL, and Colton Jacob Lord, of Stanwood, IA, his mother Linda S. Bennett, of Griggsville, IL, 2 brothers, Ronald Lord, of IA, and Mark Bennett, wife Cristince, of Gastonia, NC, 3 sisters, Pam Lord (Rick Crim), of Griggsville, IL, Martha Street, husband Alan, of Griggsville, IL, and Lori Zumwalt, of Griggsville, IL, and his canine companion Hooch.
Mike was employed at Callenders Construction of Pittsfield. He liked to hunt mushrooms, fish and spoil his canine companion Hooch. He also loved to tinker with anything mechanical when not at work. He could be found in his garage.
A visitation for family to meet friends will be held from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.
Interment will be private.
