Obituary for Betty Ann Main
Mrs. Betty Ann Main, 89, of Barry, IL, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Liberty Village in Pittsfield, IL.
She was born December 18, 1934, in East St. Louis, IL, to Homer E. & Fola L. (Larimore) Fletcher.
She married Norman Main on September 30, 1951, in Barry, IL. He preceded her in death on July 17, 2008.
She is survived by 1 son Eric Main (Michele), of Barry, IL, 2 daughters,
Debby (Seve) Bradshaw, of Quincy, IL, and Kim Pulliam, of Barry, IL, 10 grandchildren, Ryan (Julia) Pulliam, of Maplewood, MO, Reid (Emily) Pulliam, of Barry, Brian (Kory) Bradshaw, of Quincy, Kevin (Haley) Bradshaw, of Old Hickory, TN, Kyle (Paige) Warning, of Quincy, Evin (Ashley Gratton) Main, of Barry, Colton Main, of, Colorado Springs, CO, Laura (Jason Baldwin) Pulliam, of Holly Hills, St. Louis, Erin (Colby) Lawson, of Grover, MO, and Katie (Drew) Janssen, of New Canton, and 19 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents and 1 great granddaughter.
Betty enjoyed gardening and was active in Home Extension. She was active in her church and loved gardening, yard work and her animals. Betty was a Sunday School Teacher for over 60 years. She was known for being friendly, caring and for her good nature. Betty had worked as a bookkeeper and had been an avid reader.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.
Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry.
Memorials are suggested to the Barry United Methodist Church or Park Lawn Cemetery.
