Obituary for Betty I. Stout
Mrs. Betty I. Stout, 89, of Plainville, IL, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
She was born April 5, 1933, in Fall Creek Township, Adams County, IL, to Ira Elmer & Christina (Embree) Hull. They preceded her in death.
She married David Dean Allensworth on July 28, 1951, in Walnut Ridge, AR. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1962.
She later married John W. “Bill” Stout on July 7, 1964, in Quincy, IL. He preceded her in death on April 11, 2006.
She is survived by 1 son Dan Stout, wife Susan, of Plainville, IL, 4 daughters, Sharon Allensworth, of Payson, IL, Karen Jones, husband Larry, of Quincy, IL, Sandy Foster, husband Jim, of Quincy, IL, and Deanette Jarman, husband Mark, of Hannibal, MO, 10 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 21 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, her husband David and her husband Bill, she was also preceded in death by 1 grandchild, 1 sister and 1 brother.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 23, 2023, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 23, 2023, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.
Burial will be in Akers Chapel Cemetery, Hull, IL.
