Obituary for Joan McTucker
Mrs. Joan McTucker of San Antonio, TX, formerly of Barry and Bartonville (Peoria), passed away peacefully on Friday, December 23, 2016, at her home, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on January 11, 1935, in Barry, she was a daughter of George and Susie Spann.
She married Bob Houseweart in Barry in 1954. They divorced in 1974, and he passed away in 1998. She later married John McTucker on September 23, 1978. He preceded her in death on March 24, 2010.
Survivors include her children, Robin Leslie Houseweart of Barry, Bobby Jeff Houseweart of San Antonio, TX; step-children Aileen Davidson Brockett of Myrtle Beach, SC, Carol Lee Davidson Kalb of Bloomington, IN, and Tom Davidson of Wolcottville,IN; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren, and brother-in-law Richard McTucker of Barry.
Joan graduated from Barry High School, and throughout her life worked in the restaurant business, mobile home escort service, insurance sales, and became a successful real estate agent in the Peoria area.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry.
Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry.
