Mrs. Mary Allen Wagy, 92, of Quincy, IL, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy, IL.
She was born May 28, 1929, in Elmhurst, IL, to Norman Jacob & Florence Homer (Richards) Keller. They preceded her in death.
She married B. J. Rodriguez on March 22, 1952.
She later married Maurice Vinton Wagy on August 3, 1974. He died July 5, 2018.
She is survived by 2 sons, Norman Julian Rodriguez, wife Anita, of Quincy, IL, and Bradford Jay Rodriguez, wife Wendy, of Markdale Ontario, Canada, 4 grandchildren, Shane, wife Krystle, Rodriguez of Fenton, MO, Sabrina Rodriguez, of Fayetteville, NC, Kiira, husband Stephen, Cherry, of Franklin TN, and Kayley Rodriguez, of Greenbrier, TN, 2 step grandchildren, Richard Wagy of Quincy, IL, and Candria, husband Daniel, French, of Quincy, IL, 1 step daughter-in-law Dixie Wagy, of Quincy, IL, 4 great grandchildren, Staci Rodriguez, Brayden Rodriguez, Koralynn Cherry and Sawyer Cherry, 4 step great grandchildren, Alexandra, husband Dillon, Wainman, Gabrielle Moore, Baylee Thornton (companion Willie), and Derick Thornton (companion Zoe Littleton), 3 step great great grandchildren, and 1 brother Norman "Bub" Keller, of Roseville, IL.
In addition to her parents and her husband Maurice she was also preceded in death by 1 brother Jack Keller and a step-son Harry Gene Wagy.
Mary graduated from York Community High School in Elmhurst, IL. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University and was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. Mary was a registered dietitian from July 1951 thru June 1983, retiring in July of 1983. Mary was an avid St. Louis Cardinal and Chicago Bulls fan. She loved to golf.
Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2022, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2022, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.
Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry.
