Mrs. Mildred F. Tipton, 91, of Quincy, formerly of Barry, passed away at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, March 28 2017, at St. Vincent's Home in Quincy.
She was born October 10, 1925, in Quincy, Illinois, to Samuel Claude & Emma Elizabeth (Smith) Crouch. They preceded her in death.
She married Ross V. Tipton on October 28, 1944, in Waukegan, Illinois. He preceded her in death on September 22, 1997.
She is survived by 1 son, Gerald Tipton, wife Shanna, of Liberty; 2 daughters, Connie Selsor of Hannibal, Missouri, and Linda Cobb of Quincy, Illinois; 10 grandchildren, Rick Selsor of Tennessee; Charles Selsor, wife Stephane, of Hannibal; Regina Murphy, husband Scott, of Quincy; Ted Tipton of Moorehead, Minnesota; David Parchim, wife, Melinda, of Festus, Missouri; Travis Tipton, wife Lisa, of Columbia, Missouri; Amy Tipton of Edina, Missouri; Aron Tipton of Texas; Cody Tipton of Jacksonville, Illinois;
and Layne Tipton of Liberty; 16 great grandchildren; and 1 brother Dallas Crouch of Las Vegas, Nevada.
In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by 3 sons, Harvey, David and Roger; 2 brothers Jesse Crouch and Sam Crouch; and 3 sisters, Myrtle Holtschlag, Dorothy Wilbe and Lucille Kennelly.
Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.
Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry.
